Wear it Pink! 2026

Date Published:
Tuesday 06 October 2026

Breast Cancer Now's 'Wear it Pink' day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their workplaces, communities, or schools to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen.

How to take part:

Please support Rye Hills in making a different and raising awareness for a charity that is very close to our hearts. All students have to do is wear something pink on the last day of term - Friday 23rd October! Full uniform is required but they can wear a pink T-shirt, or a pink accessory, like a tie, bow, or socks.

How to donate:

We ask for a minimum £1 donation to the charity which students can start bringing in to tutors from now until the 23rd October. You can also pay on ParentPay. Alternatively, you can donate online following this link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/miss-lumb-4?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL.

Bake Sale:

The new student council will be organising a bake sale at break time on Friday 23rd October. Please support the bake sale by bringing in some homemade goodies to sell (nut free) or some cash to buy a treat!

In 2024, we raised £600. In 2025, we raised an incredible £1,500! Can we beat that this year?
