Steven recently retired from the role of Detective Constable. He has extensive experience of working in the safeguarding environment. He has worked in various departments as a Detective especially the Police Safeguarding department dealing with crimes at all levels working with vulnerable victims & survivors. He was part of a team which set up a new Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub in Sunderland.
His last position was a a Detective working in the intelligence department.
In his spare time he does a lot of walking with his rescue dog Oz and also volunteers for a men’s bereavement charity called Strongmen.org.U.K. as a peer to peer support worker as part of their Man2Man team.
