As part of their preparation for the upcoming expedition, our students working towards the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award, all engaged in a practice walk at Raven Gill.
The four hour hike allowed participants to familiarise themselves with the terrain, test their navigation skills and assess their physical endurance. The practice walk also offered an opportunity for participants to refine their teamwork and communication abilities, crucial aspects for a successful expedition. Through this hands-on experience, DofE participants gained valuable insights into the challenges they may encounter during their journey, enabling them to better prepare for the ultimate adventure ahead.
Good luck everyone!
