We couldn't let our Year 11s leave without some final important recognition. During the leavers' assembly, we awarded a group of students who had a magnificent 100% attendance for the year, two of whom who had 100% for the whole of key stage 4. These were invited to the stage to be rewarded. Following this, we had three golden ticket draws for those who reached our attendance target.

The next awards were for our top 3 highest house points achievers across the year. These 3 students have displayed our values day in, day out and have been exemplary role models to the school community. Next up, students who had been nominated by their form tutors for numerous admirable reasons were invited to the stage to be acknowledged and praised.

Last but not least, it was an honour to award the final Headteacher's Awards of the year to William G and Erin N who thoroughly deserve this recognition for epitomising the Rye Hills Way and our values over their 5 years at Rye Hills Academy.

William G - here are a few things teachers said about Will...
